Born and raised in a small town in rural Georgia, I grew up in a somewhat isolated bubble. While it was comfortable and in many ways ideal, I soon began to recognize that to fully understand and respect others' lifestyles and points of view, I would need to step outside of that bubble. Once it came time to submit college applications, I knew it was my chance to get out of the comfort zone I had known for almost 18 years. I needed to get away, but not too far, so I applied and was accepted to Georgia Southern University.
When fall rolled around, I was off to Statesboro, Georgia, to live independently for the first time. With a little extra work through dual enrollment classes, I graduated high school with nearly 50 college credit hours and was able to skip my entire freshman year of college, putting me in classes with upperclassmen. Three years of hard work and dedication later, I graduated with my Bachelor of Science in Public Relations. After graduation in May of 2022, I applied for jobs all over the Southeast. Within a month and a half, I had two offers: one close to home and one in Nashville, TN. I had a difficult decision to make: go back to that comfortable bubble, or face uncertainty and continue to broaden my perspective. I chose to move away and chase a dream because I knew if I did not, I might never leave.

In June 2022, my bags were packed and I was ready to move into a new home with two strangers I met on Facebook five days prior. I had never been to Nashville before, and I did not know one single person who lived there. My level of excitement was over the top, but I was also terrified. At the age of 21, I had moved to an entirely different environment, taken my first "big girl job," and was ready to hit the ground running. Little did I know, I would have to hit the ground sprinting. On my first day of work, I was informed that I would be the only employee at the PR firm with several interns coming and going, with only me to train them. After three days of training, I began overseeing three interns while still learning my role as a publicist. In just a year and a half, I accomplished so much, from managing 20+ clients, training and directing new interns multiple times a year, and overseeing all company operations during times of the owner's absence. After my time in Nashville, I returned to Georgia, where I took a chance to broaden my career path and accept a new position with the state as the Communications Specialist for the Department of Natural Resources.
As of May 2025, I started up ROWE Creative + PR, my very own business, where I began freelance work with clients across the country. I work closely with each client, providing services such as Social Media Management, Graphic Design, Email Marketing, Logo Creation, and more.
